I tried getting an answer before, but what is the weight distribution of a Kirkham like yours and have you ever put your car on a scale as Is/race weight? I've seen the weight put at anywhere "guessing" from 1900 to 2400 with an FE, but no actual numbers. I'd guess the aluminum FE would shave off around 200 pounds vs iron which puts it back in to sbf weight (not really comparable, but my fiberglass backdraft is 2434 48.5/51.5 rear bias with somewhere between 10 and 12 gallons of fuel, with about 30 pounds of misc junk in the trunk and a Windsor, so I can see the aluminum body and billet parts of the Kirkham shaving off a couple hundred pounds).
