Hey Rick,
I'm glad you were able to make it. I'll look for you at SCS as I get down there pretty regular. I was headed to the pier from Kanan and PCH today but got a late start. About 1:30 I found myself putting along in very slow stop and go bumper to bumper traffic down PCH. I still had at least 10 more miles to go before getting to the pier and I gave up. It seemed like everybody was at the beach (great weather and blue skies) and all kinds of stuff happening. Farmers market in Malibu, flags at Pepperdine and cars/people everywhere. I only imagined it was just as bad at the Santa Monica pier too. I'm sorry I missed it.
