I looked at my wheels last night and the front face of the spinner is almost flush with the top of the hub threads. So I don't think there are enough exposed threads to install these even if I wanted to.

Is a properly installed spinner with safety wire adequate, or do I need to figure out some sort of retaining device, like this or the Kirkham set-up?
