Not Ranked
I'd concur with Craig's comment that the Avons are the best gripping road legal 15" tyres you can get but when I priced them for all four at around $600 per corner I took a hold on buying a set.
Look at the options available on Tire Rack in the US as I bought a set of four firehawk tyres 295's rear and 245's front for less than $1000 delivered.
Have to admit I don't really know how these tyres will grip but I do know they are better than the BFG's.
I did want a matching tyre set front and back, and given I wanted 295 rears, the options are limited and even the Yoki 352's I think are no longer available.
Good luck with the search.
