Default 2013 Tail of the Dragon & Cherohala Skyway run
It's that time of the year again.

Tail of the Dragon = 318 curves in 11 miles
Cherohala Skyway = 43 miles of God's Country that leaves no doubt as to why it was registered a National Scenic Byway

Saturday, October 26th, 2013

Same as in years past:
We'll meet up with some of the western NC crowd & hotel overnighters at the I-40 Exit 44 Cracker Barrell just west of Asheville a little before 8am for breakfast; meet up with others at Fontana Dam around 11am; catch up, have some laughs, take in the scenery, then head out northbound to slay the Dragon.


From there, we'll decide whether to run it again southbound & grab lunch at Deal's Gap or Robbinsville before a westbound Skyway run; wrap around TN to Tellico Plains for a full eastbound run; etc.
