The wire ERA supplied is .031" (I think). I wired the rear wheels last night and the HF tool worked ok, but it's a cheapie and life's too short to use Chinese tools. I ended up buying a Milbar 11W (CW only, 6") for $20 (including shipping) on Ebay. I'll let you know how they compare once it arrives.
