Has anyone bought a Roush 427 IR crate engine with a MotoTron ECU only to find no one can access the ECU for diagnosis or tuning or service other than Roush who has no in interest in doing so nor facilitating access?

Interested to know if you've had this issue, how you've resolved maintenance/access and if you've scrapped the MotoTron ECU and switched to another FI system (and which system).
