We have had a Holley Ultra HP 750 on a Dyno Run with a Stroker Small Block Chevy of 423 inches. The Ultra HP works so well right out of the box. You really almost don't need to touch anything. The Engine Responded great to the carb and it really worked well. Make sure to read all the paperwork. I think Holley has some 20 improvements over past carbs. As for the Quick Fuel Carb, I have been a fan in the past but it seems that there has been an ownership change since the company was started and we have had problems with several Quick Fuel Carbs this Summer.
I have two New Quick Fuel Q850s for engines that I am working on now and don't know if I should keep them and take them apart to check things out or return them and buy Ultra HPs.
