Sadly Don, Grant and Mark ripped the diff out of the scooter at the hill climb on the Saturday. Some dodgy welding got it going again but not good enough to last the weekend.

They were able to get a run at the drags and the hot Lap but was nowhere near as solid in the handling after the failure. Eventually the diff mount parted a second time and it was back home for the geriatrics and their scooter.

What times were posted just indicates how quick a healthy standard bore 302 can be when married with good gears and lots of time spent getting handling under control.
