Kirkham 289 Bronze build

Now that the flip-top is complete, it's time to start another build.

This will be the first Bronze 289 built by Kirkham. It will include original style suspension, wire wheels, under exhaust and few cool surprises....

Great pic Larry. Believe me I know about steel(stainless) even if it's been well over 115 years my family has been out of that business. I was thinking of the handful of Ford cars that were stamped out of stainless. Even though there was some damage to the equipment when it was done.

Now this copper car or "bronze" was I guess produced using aluminum bronze which means some copper was added to the aluminum. Makes sense since Kirkham produces aluminum bodies.

For historical purposes I was referring to the eleven Allegheny Ludlum Fords that were produced.
