Neill! Where are you? i thought you were going to tell the story! Well, I will let you elaborate on this.
Gregg let his good friend take the Cobra out around the block since he went all the way with him to pick it up. (I'll leave names out of this) It wasn't 3 seconds later we hear the tires screeching something terrible. And it wasn't from takeoff. Then we hear a THUD! Everyone looked at each other as if...uh oh.
We all ran to the top of the hill. I jumped into my truck and asked Gregg if he wanted in. He did not. He was scared what he might see. I approach the car and 10-15 neighbors have it cornered. I see that it has all it's fenders attached so I stop, put it in reverse and head back to Gregg's. I tell him it looks ok and we all go back to the driveway. The Cobra goes on it's journey. Then a big burley guy wanting to kick someone's a$$ comes up and says, "who owns the primer gray or black car like this red one in the driveway" He gave us his peace of mind then went on his way. Gregg's Cobra finally made it back where a totally embarassed driver got out. He says, "Sorry Gregg, but I owe you a new wheel". He had looped it while spinning the tires in second gear and jumped a curb. It wasn't too bad.
But Hey Gregg! How 'bout that new neighborhood reputation you got....you bad boy!
