The "drive" is only one of many things to consider. As you note this sort of question can be very controversial. To me the choices available for an ERA, the "have it your way" ability to have the car built as I wanted it was compelling. Too, I have confidence in their engineering and the integrity of their design. Service is also a strong point.

I am also not interested in "turn key" or "all most turn key" cars. For me the "journey" of planning the car and then putting it together is the thing. And they do go together.

To my aging eyes, ERAs just look right and, done right, the car should hold its value.
