Actually as previously stated SAI would by military surplus hardware for, cheaper to get and higher quality than the hardware store would offer. SAI tended to use "CXS" stamped hex bolts (mostly cadmiumum plated) when building out competition Cobras, areas of use included everything from Weber linkages to suspension hardware.
