An open centred diff loses traction on the right rear in a straight line, but the left rear will still roll, hence no sideways action.

An LSD will spin both wheels if you have enough power. Once you get used to turning left under power, you'll never look back.

In fact, there's no point looking in your mirror for who's losing.
