My cousin lives in Omaha now and I would like to make a last trip back to see them and see how Omaha and Harrison have changed in the 50+ years since I was last there. Hey Ron,
When the “four lane” bypassed Omaha about a dozen years ago the town felt it. You can get low octane gas, lunch, a tire fixed or mail a letter in Downtown Omaha (maybe a little more stuff). I’m outside the city limits so not technically one of the 169 residents.
I’m used to being away from services. In Central California we were 10 miles from a gas station so we knew what to expect.
On the other hand, Harrison and Branson keep growing.
Give me a shout if you you’re going to make it back for a visit.
