I purchased a donor 89 mustang and would like to use the power steering rack that was on the donor, but It seems like the rack is too long. Does anyone have any experience with this rack and how would I go about shortening it so I can use it. I tried going to an auto parts store and getting shorter tie rods ends, but there are lots to choose from with all different thread types. Any particular make and model vehicle that I can purchase Tie rod ends to make work?
