I'm running M/T ET Street drag radials on my Vintage 17" wheels (315/17/35). The really do hook, enough to lift both front tires out of the hole. The lower aspect ratio allows them to perform pretty good in the twisties too. They're DOT rated also.

I'll never run anything else...
