Due to the lack of
zinc in modern motor oils, I've been using a ZDDP additive to protect the flat tappets and camshaft in my 57 T-Bird, Y Block, 312.
From the perspective of 'there's never too much of a good thing', other than cost, would there be any benefit or downside of using this additive in a motor with roller tappets?
