With the industry changing quite radically with the onset of AP and more older imported left hookers landing on our shores we certainly seem to be seeing a lot more "period style" cars around. The 15 inch wheels etc etc certainly is making their presence felt. Personally I love them.

At the risk of asking a question that may or may not have been answered already... reading the Avon website it states the Avon CR6ZZ is EXEMPT from the EU tyre labelling regulation EC1222/2009 and is designed to be fitted only to vehicles registered for the first time before 1 October 1990. (I'm not sure how that relates to DOT??)

But what are the insurance ramifications if any of running these or the Billboard tyres seen on Ronny's, Box or your car? I know Bernie has 2 sets, for show and DOT for road use...

Certainly, without doubt the direction I'd go for a street cobra of 40... and what I'd want to do. But curious as to views and opinions...... and dare I say it .....legal liability?
