He was just a Marxist Dictator and threw Russia into socialism - they still did not recover as of today. All arts disappeared, there were the political leaders (rich) and all the others (poor) "one class". That country turned grey...
Most workers drive in a car to work (capitalist countries) while Russia never developed their own car (only copies) and the workers pinned on bus, mopeds and bicycles.
Get a passport, fly to Russia and China, even Cuba or Venezuela would do it- look around, come back and use the word "brilliant" again.
Just be polite, because the cops have their Batons not for decoration only ... and they know how to use it....
