The problem with replicas / kit cars is to many entities in the equation. The chassis supplier, the engine builder, the drivetrain installer. Nobody is accountable for the entire build. I think this is because it is how we skirt new vehicle requirements or bypass govt regulations.

I have said it many times before if u can't work on cars, rebuild carburators, ignition work you have no business by a replica.
