I have a 9 inch with drum brakes. Right now I have a rolling chassis, no engine or trans. I can push it backwards with no problems. When I try to push it forward it won't move. With the wheels in the air I can turn the center pinion and the wheels move forward and backward very easily. I had a mechanic look at it and he said it was the brake shoes I checked and they aren't rubbing on the drum. I'm just wondering why I can't push the chassis forward. Should I just continue with the build and figure it out later.
