Fair question Towmaster, We could have gone to 347, but my engine builder felt this was the best combo for what I told him what I wanted from the car. I believe he wants it to turn pretty hard and the rod angle ratio required a little less worry over the long term. He is also confident of making the power with it, and it helps he is a friend and I trust his judgement as he screws these things together for a living. I know whatever he does it will all work together and that should make it a pretty handy engine.
I am very lucky to have a few mates at FPR, so when they talk, I do the listening and shut up. That is why its taking time to complete, the demands on his time at work are very heavy.
