If I was building another I'd be tempted to go the way Gav has with a paddle shifted Auto.

The 6L80 6 speed would be tempting if you could find a controller like the TCI one Gav has. However it's not got the best ratios in it from what I've read. Looking at Gav's performances I reckon 4 gears is enough.
