I had that problem on my Cobra when I was racing and I changed to a Holly racing carb which had something in it to stop the fuel from rushing to the front of the float bowls when braking hard. Never had a problem after that. I think there is something that you can get to ad inside the bowls and where he vents come down also. Rick Parker on this site would be a good person to ask as he knows that stuff.
