I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge, which is for my next Winter Project, so I connected it and it marks approx. 50 psi with cold engine and 40 psi idling with hot engine. So it shows the same values like my old electric pressure Sender. Accelerating the RPMs, it moves up to 60 psi.

But on the valve train the oil flow is still like a rivulet having its last drops. The oil comes through the pushrods to the rockerarm/fullcrum. But there is not enough oil, which reaches the rollertips.

Running on idle for a longer time the water temperature marks 180°F. The canton oil can easily be touched with the hand, that means the oil temperature must be about 40°F.

I try to understand, why the lifters do not pump enough oil to the valve train once the engine is started.
Watching the pictures and comparing the old and new lifters (GSP-3518-6), there is a difference on the oil band higth. Could this cause a problem regarding the compaotibility with the galley?

The engine, after the repair, has now a running time of about 30 minutes without driving and with RPM between 850 and 2000. It looks like the oil flow did increase a little bit on the valve train.

Maybe it is just an optical illusion???
