OK so GM Holden will be shutting their manufacturing doors in 2017, as will Toyota, same year, and Ford before that in 2016.
What about if GM allowed the Holden guys to get into some 'special projects'?
Some of us might remember the Holden Hurricane from way, way back in 1969?
There were some good design guys there back then, and there would be some good guys there now that would love to be allowed to do a little lateral thinking.
Australia could become the next Modena/Maranello/Sant 'Agata Bolognese
with the amount of design and engineering talent, as well as manufacturing facilities we have here.
