Hi all,

I just had my second magnetic pickup failure and I only have 212 miles on the car. I also have another issue and I'm not sure if it's all tied. Both times the pickup failed the car would fail to crank immediatly after as the optima battery went to around 8 volts. I had the battery checked and its supposedly good.

I'm running a Msd 8594 with 6al box. Is the box shorting out the pickup at random times? I'm not trusting this setup now, but concerned it maybe a different wiring issue and not he msd stuff at all. Just trying to locate the issue. Before replacing stuff.
