Thanks all. Good to see some Cobras in the neighborhood. I have seen a couple at some car shows around, so knew there should be some, just didn't know anyone. I have ordered one of the 50th Anniversary FIA 289 Cobras (CSX7000 series) from SAI. I have been involved in Shelbys for several decades, have a 2013 GT350 and a 1968 GT500KR now, but finally wanted to take the plunge on a Cobra. And yes, I do know how slow the whole process is (it took SAI 8 months to build my GT350 after the GT arrived in 'Vegas), and have heard lots of stories about "issues" that will come up since this is like a hand-built car with no real assembly line experience or workmanship to count on. It is a little scary, but hope I can find and fix problems with the car ASAP.
