I still haven't installed the preoiler in mine but still may do so. I have the remote
oil filter mount, so I think the plumbing would be pretty easy. One other point that occurred to me is several people have pointed out new cars go a few hundred thousand miles without a preoiler and show little wear using modern lubes. But new cars usually start on the first crank every time. At least for me, my Cobra and every other carb'd car I've had takes at least a few cranks each time, even with an electric fuel pump filling the bowls. The preoiler could be a nice safeguard in these cars.
