I don't sport a front plate, and have been pulled over for breath test and driven past numerous highway patrols no problem (I presume they check their mirror and see my rear plate) I have easy jacks instead of bumpers. I don't believe you would have a problem displaying a sticker on the front provided the authorised rear plate is displayed clearly (for the cameras and high speed chase identification of course ) :-) There is a clause in NSW regs that mentions exceptions, but no detail. So it can be presumed that if there is nowhere to mount a front plate, you don't. That's just my take on things, please don't use my approach as authoritative advice, I just don't see the point in fearing authorities because most of them are reasonable. Its only the odd cowboy that is a concern. MHO .. well maybe not humble, but my opinion anyway :-) if you go with a front plate, the sticker definitely looks the goods.
