A local charity down in westbrook is holding their 2nd annual Bike ride and car show on June 1st and would love to get a group to join. Its for CDLK5, CDLK5 is a rare X-linked genetic disorder that results in early onset, difficult to control seizures, and severe neuro-developmental impairment. The event is hosted by Team Avery and Bills Seafood and they asked for some help in getting cars.
Last year was a tough year for them and only had a handful of cars that showed up but plenty of bikes. The event is nothing to special, great food (10 bucks all you can eat) and some live bands.
I was thinking of meeting early morning grab some breakfast make a nice cruise over to the show for a couple of hours then cruise over to clinton to the vineyard.
You will be helping a great cause!
