X2 for Pat's post. It's amazing how many people haven't figured that out yet. I can see 360 around the car without turning my head. For viewing what's next to me when I have about 2 ft. left of the car next to me in the rear view I have about 2 ft. of it in the side mirror. When I have about 2 ft. of them left in the side mirror I can pick them up in my peripheral vision. Been setting mirrors up like that since not long after I started driving.
