The cool thing about Jay's car is it's an extremely well built replica re-creation too,
not an original. He openly acknowledges this with pride in the craftsmanship about how the car was created how he wanted it, with a hand hammered aluminum body, SOHC Cammer 427. He has kept it that way ever since with seemingly no desire to replace with an original because he likes it the way it is. I know more than a few people who sold their originals and immediately built an ultra nice replica to replace it so they could drive it more often. Function first.
