as in all the years i've been screwing around with cars my electrical gauge has been just dandy. the 10 psi it may or may not be off means nothing with 60 psi of OP. after my first capillary tube hit my header and sprayed oil freakin everywhere i was done with mechanicals, yes they are differnt now but, why not use modern electric components.
if you start with good quality stuff it should last your lifetime
remember we are not doing le mans, these are street cars
