No, my last two Cobras were local and it's been a while for me on my own cars and since I sold my related business. i.e. I spent time up in that area and know some people up there and others who've moved there, etc.. i.e. typically, city folks around us are more uptight vs. the rural folk up there.
If all you need now is your B&L cert, that's great. You are close. I always recommend the pre-visit without the car to help grease the skids. Usually you have to deal with the owner vs. the counter person, so ask for the owner/manager to cut to the chase versus getting the car up there to find out they don't want to do it once you get there.
