Kids hey Greg! I need to see your set up to explain proper but I've dabbled with
All sorts of stuff. Super traps, cones, cut down cats, spirals, perforated tube, butterfly's, stainless scrubb wrapped pert tube, fibre matt wrapped tube, bananas the works....

If it's a muffler type set up I know Pete ransom ran super traps on his 40 with good success but u can't just affix them and hope they work. Had a fresh Porsche run em at qr and bang. You need to tune them.

For a cobra with live pipes perf tubes wrapped in matt worked the best for noise reduction while keeping flow almost unaffected. They made a huge difference on both live piped cobras... But as Scotty would say, if u want it quieter put a turbo on it!

Trust the 18th goes well. Shot gun on standby always helps you feel more at ease.
