Regarding the anti-seize: it doesn't take much to be effective. A mechanic I knew long ago had a technique that he taught me for applications like this: "Put it on like you're trying to take it off." I've never forgotten that, and it has always worked for me.
Definitely do NOT follow the common saying, "If a little is good, then more is better" regarding anti-seize on your hubs (or any place else on a car, for that matter).
