Yup...for all those things and more.
We had a little Gasholes get together down in the Keys last year...I rented a Challenger R/T (small hemi) from Miami for the week and damn if I didn't just flat have a ball with it...kept kicking up the gravel going sideways down the curvy driveway every time we got in it to go grab a meal (ask Lovehammer). Funny part was when Wilf, a proper English gent, got in it and played Southern good ol boy with the loud pedal like a native. Totally agree re it being much better looking than a Camaro or Mustang.
Petty's folks leaned on a few and actually got them to turn left (and right) properly...taking care of the one little issue that needed to be done. course...then they dumped some more horses in it, etc. I was already to get my dress black boots out of the back of the closet and find me a new Stetson.
I still may get one, or like you say, wait for the new factory offering, just for rainy weekend driving.
