This is where titling and registration becomes an issue. An MSO from a manufacturer such as Ford states the car is a "New Motor Vehicle", as such passing all EPA, DOT, safety and various other requirements needed to put a car directly on US roadways. An MSO from Shelby calls (correctly) the product a "component Vehicle", and as we all know needs a minimum of engine, trans and related parts to make the car mobile. This can be installed by one of Shelby's dealers
but the "component" status does not change.
Shelby has only built one complete automobile since 1967/8 and that was the Series I.
