Not sure what you are calling a "rookie stripe"? A rookie stripe will be somewhere on the back of the car usually on the bumper.
On the front of like-painted cars, different color stripes were placed on the fender(s) or across the nose to differentiate one team car from another. These were called team stripes.
Check with 3m, they usually have a selection of tape to suit most needs.
