Default Gator's and Croc's.

We are getting a show on Sydney TV called 'Swamp People'. These southern folk stalk out and shoot the dreaded American Alligator. I know that a big gator might grow to about 4 metres if he lives that long, but these are pretty rare. We have saltwater crocs up to 6 metres which would eat one of those 4 metre alligators in one mouthful.

I have been into the Florida Everglades on a Swamp Tour. We fed a few of these monster alligators, not with the hind quarter of a water buffalo like they do over here up north when feeding our big crocs, but with marshmallows. One Alligator we fed was so small that it had to be rescued by the boat driver so it didn't choke on the marshmallow.

Our Saltwater Croc's appear to be far more aggressive than the American Alligators.
