Default Apple OS X Dashboard
OS X 10.9.4

Attempting to install Adobe Flash Player, get the message:

" Close the following programs to continue:

DashboardClient.

Could not find the command to close, the " Client " portion associated with Dashboard, had not previously seen. Went to Dashboard in Applications, no command to close, nor in Finder.

Any suggestions ? ......thanks
