I think a forged crank might be cheap insurance for even such a relatively mild engine, considering the effects of a crank breaking at a 4500rpm launch with nitrous.

Also the bottom end would be ready for some higher revs if I ever feel the need to go to a solid roller in the future.

So what brand can be recommended? I used Scat I-beam rods in the past and was very pleased with the quality.
