Default Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway run

Tail of the Dragon = 318 curves in 11 miles
Cherohala Skyway = 43 miles of God's Country that leaves no doubt as to why it was registered a National Scenic Byway

Same as in years past:
Charlotte / Piedmont area crowd leaves Troutman / I-77 @ 5:45am. Meet up with some of the western NC crowd & hotel overnighters at the I-40 Exit 44 Cracker Barrel for breakfast @ 8am. Meet up with everyone else at Fontana Dam @ 11am. Catch up, have some laughs, take in the scenery, then head out northbound to run the Dragon & Cherohala Skyway after.

Excellent drive, and excellent opportunity to get professional photos of your car in action.
