Agree with the above as I pretty much always bolt them to the floor and tilt the front up for more room. You could also take some foam out of the seat cushion or have a thinner one made. On other thing you could do is put a Kirkey vintage racing seat in it bolted to the floor and tilted back as you will pickup lots of room with that seat. I have one in mine per the following pic.
