Default bellhousing alignment for BBF quicktime to t-56
I am adapting a t-56 magnum Ford trans. to a 460 style ford block via a quicktime bellhousing .According to quicktime you need to remove the front plate of the trans. and bolt it to the bellhousing in order to check for proper alignment .Tremec says not to do it since they gave quicktime all their dimensions so alignment is not necessary ? Some how I can,t trust quicktime to make all there bells precise . Any suggestions ?
