It is dependent on the engine. Once you know what your engine is then go with what the engine builder/manufacturer says, NOT with what Backdraft says.

No one can tell you what type of
oil, what type of filter or how much oil without you first providing what your engine setup is (stock 5.0 pan, dry sump, etc, etc. Once you know what your engine setup is then go with what the engine builder says, NOT with what Backdraft says.
