I figured I would try posting here since a vast number of you run LS engines.

I currently have a SBC with a Lakewood blow proof housing mated to a T56. Between the T56 and bellhousing, there is an adapter that allows you to use the original lever style throwout bearing.

Is there a bellhousing or a way that I can install an LS engine that will still allow me to use the current lever style throwout bearing arm? I prefer not to use the new style throwout bearing that is mounted to the trans.
