OK, as the route basically goes by my front door (Lions Bay, just past West Vancouver on the way to Whistler), I'm gonna have to see if I can make this happen!!!!
As a thought for those who are more adventurous, the loop trip from Vancouver to Whistler, then continuing up Hwy 99 through Pemberton then to Lillooet is SPECTACULAR, makes the Vancouver/Whistler section look like... i dunno, Kansas?
Then, you take Hwy 12 to Litton where it connects up with Hwy 1 which winds down the Fraser River Canyon back to the Vancouver area, where you could take the Sumas border crossing and miss all the Vancouver traffic.
Just a thought, rather than just heading back to Washington the same way you went up...
